38 Weeks!

Andrew and I have enjoyed his day off for Memorial Day. He is a huge help to me right now in running errands since it is a little harder for me to get around these days. We are really counting down the days to meet our little girl. Every day lately we both are thinking-could today be the day??? We'll see what happens this week!

37 Weeks!

Well I am officially full term as of today. That means little Sadie Jane could come anytime. I am trying not to be too hopeful though. I know she could take her dear sweet time and end up being late. I feel like I am ready for her to come anytime. Andrew on the other hand really likes June and would like for her to be born in June. We'll see what happens but for now here are some more belly shots. Andrew asked me the other day- "did you ever think you would be so big?" Good thing I am not sensitive about that and I totally knew what he meant. It still made me laugh though-thanks honey.

Pregnancy Photos

We are so blessed to have a friend that offered to take some pregnancy pictures for us. I love that we now have these as a memory of this first pregnancy but also it will be so much fun to show them to Sadie Jane someday.

It's Been One Year!

Andrew and I have been thinking back to this time last year a lot lately. So many big things happened a year ago and it is good to remember. First, I have been a full-time homemaker for one whole year! My last day was May 5th last year and I still find myself so thankful to be at home. I am also grateful that I was able to be home for a whole year before Sadie Jane comes. For me, it has been a blessing to just learn how to take care of my husband and home better. Also, Andrew graduated from seminary one year ago. For some reason it seems longer but in a good way. Pretty soon, June 1st, we will celebrate our first year in Redding. We are so overwhelmed by God's goodness in bringing us here. We have learned so much this first year and hope to keep on pressing forward to glorify God in the ministry He has graciously given us.

I was so blessed to celebrate my 1st mother's day last Sunday. Andrew was very sweet and got me this orchid. I feel so thankful to be able to be a mommy.

Sadie Jane's Room

The curtains are from my nursery

Dresses that were given to us-so cute we had to hang them up!

Pictures from Andrew's nursery

My sister made this for Sadie Jane

Andrew said the Lakers bear was a must for the crib

My mom painted these letters to hang over Sadie's crib. That's the full tour, well besides the closet:) We are good to go, just a few more things to put together and I need to get some pillows for the bed. Thanks mom for helping with Sadie Jane's room!!!

34 Weeks!

What we've been up to...

My mom came on Friday to help me and Andrew set up Sadie Jane's room. It was a bit overwhelming at first but my mom is a machine and helped us get everything done!
Painting project-don't worry. I had no part in this. My mom was gracious enough to do it and leave me out of it. I am sure if I got near it, it would be a disaster!

One after picture but more to come once I clean up a little more in there. I love how the room turned out! I could not have been able to get it all done without my mom and Andrew. Little Sadie is so blessed!
