SJ has been having fun visiting with Nana and Pawpaw.  She is also loving her new high chair.  Thank you Kim Walterscheid!
 Nana dressed SJ everyday

More from Easter

Here are some more pictures from Easter.  We hung out in our backyard for the first time and Sadie loved it.  We are going to have to be out there a lot more often.

This is our sweet friend, Kristin, who loves our SJ.  She took a picture with all her kids she loves on.
In this picture SJ decided that Madison was way more interesting to look at than taking a picture:)

Mama

SJ surprised me and started saying "mamama" this morning.  I had to capture it on video:)

House Pictures

I am finally posting some house pictures to show our friends and family that live out of town.  We got our rug today for the living room so now it is complete, well sort of complete.  We need a few more things but the rug was the major need. Enjoy the tour!

Notice the lovely blue tape us.  Yep, still need to do some paint touch ups!

Our boring guest room.  This room I have not touched and now there's no point with baby #2 coming!

I love our backyard and patio.  It needs some work because it has been neglected for a while but we are so thankful for a big shaded space.

Our lovely side yard.  We are still not sure what to do with this space.
The doggy door we will NEVER use.  Sorry dog people!
Yes, our house is a lovely pink color.  One of our friends calls it salmon...we are hoping to change that someday but for now we are just trying to keep the yard looking decent.  Below is our front door.  Yes, that is a purple trim.  I am not sure why anyone would choose purple but we just say its for the Lakers:)

I'm Back!

I'm finally back!  I am so grateful to have a laptop again and saw just how much I rely on it.  It was good to go without it for a while and now have it and appreciate it much more.  The things that were broken in my life for a while are back to normal.  Starting with the laptop and our house!  Our house is finally done and we are enjoying having a cozy place again.  I will post pictures soon.  Adding to all the drama with the house, I found out I was pregnant less than a week after we discovered our water damage!  We were so thrilled but at the same time I was a little nervous to see how my 1st trimester would go with our house under construction but God gave us another trial to get my attention off of that.  A week after we found out that we were pregnant I had some complications and we assumed I was having a miscarriage.  By the end of the week after some blood work and an ultrasound it was confirmed that I was still pregnant but there was something next to the baby.  My doctor said it was either a 2nd baby that didn't make it or a blood clot.  Either way she informed us that I was at a high risk for a miscarriage.  So we prayed and had other pray for us that we would ask God to save this baby and use them in a mighty way but more than that we prayed that we would submit to God's will, whatever it was for this baby.  In God's perfect plan, we had another ultrasound appointment a week ago and whatever was there that could have harmed the baby is gone.  It absorbed like my doctor hoped it would.  So right now we have a healthy growing baby and I am almost done with my 1st trimester!!!  We are now trying to figure out what life will be like come the end of October with a 16 month old and a newborn.  I know God has a lot to teach us:)

I also have not stopped reading the Bible in case anyone was wondering:)  I just wasn't able to blog about it and I really missed that.  I know it is more helpful to me than to anyone else.

Today I read from 2 Peter 1:8-For if these qualities (virtue, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, and love) are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This was so good to read because I fear being ineffective or unfruitful.  I don't want to waste my life.  It is good to see the qualities that I need to be striving after for God's glory.

SJ 9 1/2 Months

It was time to do another little photo session with SJ.  I think in the craziness of life I have skipped a few months.  This is a little costume from cousin Kylee and SJ won't be able to wear it much longer so I thought I should get some pics of her in it.  Enjoy!
