Trip to Georgetown
We took Andrew to Sacramento to catch a flight to speak at a youth retreat for the weekend so we went up to Georgetown to visit my sister's family and celebrate Isaiah's 7th birthday. Sadie Jane meets her Uncle Dave

Just Hanging
Sadie Jane is not sure what she thinks about this turning the other way business. I can't believe she's big enough to face out now. Next thing you know she'll be walking!!! Whoa, slow down momma- I got a little carried away.

4 Years Blessed by God
Andrew and I have been married for 4 years today! It is amazing how each year gets faster and faster. I woke up to this little treat on our kitchen table. Andrew knows me well- just by me flowers and chocolate and I am one happy wife. I am so thankful that the Lord provided Andrew for me and that I get to be his wife. What a blessed 4 years it has been!

3 Months!
Our baby girl had her 3 month check up today weighing in at 13 pounds 9.5 ounces and 24 inches long. The Lord has blessed us with a happy and growing baby. She gets more and more fun everyday. She smiles a lot and coos. I can't wait to hear her laugh for the first time. Daddy got these shots of her the other night. He can always get her to smile.

Pictures for Mrs. Patty
One of our dear friends from Andrew's home church, Patty, bought this precious dress for Sadie Jane. I wanted to make sure we did a little photo session in it for Patty because it is just so cute. She's growing so fast these days I am not sure how much longer she can wear it. We had to take some pictures in the slip too just because I love all those ruffles! Patty-these pictures will be coming your way soon in the mail!

Girls Need Accessories
Sadie Jane got her first package in the mail today from Aunt Amy. Amy is one super creative momma and has her own online business. You can check it out at www.thebelleandthebeau.com to see all of her cute stuff for girls and boys. Sadie now has more than enough hair accessories to draw the attention away from her crazy hair. Thanks Aunt Amy!!!

Favorite Thing
I love when I find good stuff and want to share it with everyone I know. We all have our favorite things and I seem to have a new favorite thing ever couple of weeks (see parchment paper post). So here is my current new favorite thing-Popchips! I have seen these at Costco but have always been afraid to buy them without a sample. I didn't want to be stuck with a whole huge bag of something that I didn't like. Andrew would eat it but why torture him like that. So I have hoped that on one of my trips to Costco there would be a dear sweet lady passing these out but it never happened. When we were down south for vacation Andrew's sister, Cara, had these in the BBQ flavor and I fell in love with them instantly. The picture is of the sour cream and onion which are okay but BBQ is MUCH better. They have great flavor and they are low fat and you can eat a lot for little calories. So in case you have been wondering if these are worth it, they totally are!

Helpful Hint
I love learning helpful things from people. They make life so much easier! So I thought I would share my latest helpful find. My mother-in-law showed me how great parchment paper is and now I use it all the time. It can be used on a cookie sheet to cook bacon, roast veggies, and to bake cookies. I made a lot of cookies for Andrew's birthday and I love the fact that the parchment paper helps the cookie not get all burnt on the edges and they don't stick to the pan. They come right off the paper and then I can use the paper over and over and clean up is so much easier. So buy some parchment paper if you don't already have it. You'll be glad you did!
Andrew's 30th Birthday
On September 3rd, Andrew joined me in the wonderful world of 30! We had a great weekend celebrating his birthday. Our good friends, the Costellos, came down from Oregon to be with us. Andrew and Will went jet skiing Friday morning and then that night we had a party at our house complete with cake, cookies, strawberry lemonade, and a collage of things Andrew loves (see pic). Thanks everyone for making it a special day for Andrew!
