Our New Car

Last Friday we drove down to Roseville to pick up our new car. Grandpa Bill (my adopted grandpa) gave us a call on Monday of last week letting us know that he bought a new car and wanted to give us his old one. This was such a huge shock to us and a big blessing. We were looking for a good used car and the Lord provided in a way that we didn't even think of. We are grateful for Bill and for the generous hear the Lord has given him.

Back to School Bash

Last Wednesday we kicked off the school year with the Back to School Bash night. We played a fun game and Andrew dressed up as a cheesy game show host. He plays the part well!

He only gets to keep this sweater for times like this!

Youth Room Makeover Part 2

Here are the rooms now. We still have some decorating to do but having them painted give them a whole new look.

The Youth Room Makeover

The past few days we have spent most of our time making over the two youth rooms at church. I can't get the pictures to move in order so start from the bottom up to see the before and after. Once the tape is off and the furniture is in I will make sure to post some more. It was fun to paint and to hang out with the kids from the youth group but I am tired!

Jim & Jan's Visit

Andrew's parents, Jim and Jan, just left our place a little while ago. We got to spend a few days with them and it gave us an excuse to see some of the attractions around us. We took them to church on Sunday and to our church's annual lake day. Then today we drove up to Burney Falls and had a great time hiking around the waterfall and enjoying the cool mist from it!

That's All Folks

They just pulled out of the driveway and the house is empty and quiet. Makes me sad but I am grateful for the three days we had together. Now we are getting ready for Andrew's parents to come over. I love having guests!
