Cinco de Mayo was celebrated in our house this year but for a different reason. It was my last day at work! It was an exciting day spending time with some of the secretaries I have been working with for the last 4 years and wrapping everything up.
I was so overwhelmed the whole day by God's kindness. He graciously allowed me to work to put Andrew through seminary and I know I was only able to do it by God's strength because it was hard to keep up with sometimes. He allowed me to work with great people, learn a lot about different ministries, and to learn to rely on Him daily. He also gave me a great encouraging husband that lovingly supported me the whole way through.
It still has not hit me that I get to be a full-time wife yet, but I think it will sink in soon! He is good and has given me the desire of my heart.

Congratulations on your "promotion" to full time stay-at-home wife! God will continue to bless your obedience, no doubt! You will enjoy every minute as you serve your husband and work diligently in your home! Praise God for all He is doing in your life!
Congrats on being able to stay home now! I look forward to hearing all about your new life up north! I'm happy for you both. :)
Dear Kim,
I rejoiced to read this blog! Over the past months I have watched your commitment to Andrew in this area, that you worked so faithfully even though it wasn't always easy. I watched as you did trust in and rely on God, and He blessed you richly. I'm so proud of you.
Love,
Karen
