Roommate Reunion 2008

Memorial Weekend has become a weekend dedicated to getting together with a few of my old roommates. Last year we reunited in Prescott, AZ and this year we headed out to Las Vegas to stay with April and Mako. It was a quick trip but a fun time to get caught up with everyone. We started off Friday afternoon and 8 hours later we were there! We didn't mind the traffic because Lance drove the whole way-thank you Lance-and we were all in a mini van so we were able to talk the whole way there.

(Let me explain...Nikki and April are from Las Vegas. Nikki married Brandon, April's brother, and April married Mako, Nikki's brother. It's a close knit family!) We were able to spend time with both sides of the family while being there.

I beat Erin, yes you heard that right, I beat Erin by 1 point! I never win at bowling!!!

Just trying to imagine what it would be like...
It is such a blessing to be able to meet up with all of these special girls and their husbands. We feel very thankful because all of us girls have a lot of fun together and our husbands enjoy spending time together as well. Time together is always filled with talking about fun memories and hearing about what the Lord is doing now in all of their lives.

This is what usually happens when we are all together-lots of laughter. We missed you Kim and Ben. We look forward to Roommate Reunion 2009!
