Andrew's parents came this last weekend for a visit. While they were here they helped Andrew put together Sadie Jane's crib. It is so weird seeing it up in her room now. It makes us realize she will be here before we know it. It was fun to get one big project done. Thanks Grammy and Papa Jim! Also, thank you Sherlynne for this beautiful crib. It is such a blessing!

Hike Up to Whiskey Falls

Andrew took the day off today since our kids in the youth group are on spring break. We decided to hike up to Whiskey Falls because Andrew will be taking the youth group to do it in a few weeks. Sadie Jane and I made it to the top! Don't know if I'll be doing much hiking until she is born but it was fun to get out in the nice weather today.

The Long Awaited Grill

I am a huge lover of grilled chicken. It is seriously one of my favorite foods. Since we have been married I have wanted a grill but it just hasn't been that high on the priority list. Last weekend we decided it was time to go ahead and get one. We thought it could be an early Father's day and Mother's day gift to us. I was so excited!!! We had our first grilling experience on Monday night and I won't go into details but lets just say, we still have a lot to learn. This was the end result and I enjoyed every bite.

7 months-Entering the 3rd Trimester

We did two shots here so you can get a good look at this growing belly. I feel huge! But I know its not over yet and our baby girl needs to get bigger. I am so happy to make it to my 3rd trimester and I am feeling more and more ready to have Sadie Jane here. We still have a lot to do though so I am glad for these next couple of months.

Date Night

Sadie Jane's 1st Things

I am behind on my pregnancy pictures. Next week I will be 7 months pregnant so I will make sure to take one of my ever growing belly then. I pretty much just feel huge and have a hard time comprehending that I am only going to keep growing until the end. We are starting to get ready for Sadie Jane's arrival. We have registered, took a childbirth class, and now we are trying to figure out how to create a nursery/guest room for our baby girl. Here's our random beginning on gathering things for Sadie Jane-

1st pic-my mom's friend, Sherlynne, graciously gave us the crib she has used for her grandkids. We picked that up from them last week when we met them in Sacramento.

2nd pic-we saw this Laker's bear and I knew it was a must for daddy's little girl. She will have to be a Laker's fan, it's in the family.

3rd pic-this was all Andrew. We were at Walmart and he saw this and felt the need to get it for Sadie Jane. Of course there was not one that had her name so we bought one with stickers to put it on there. But then after we opened the package we realized we could pay $4 and have one engraved. So that's our plan and we'll figure out a place to put it so she knows she is true Californian.

4th pic-I ordered her bedding a little while ago and love it. Now I just need to get more ideas for how to decorate her room.
